peak wind gusts have backed off a bit, close to 40 miles an hour in nevada, so that is starting to drop off and should continue to drop off over night. we'll see patches of fog forming around the north bay and tomorrow morning increasing clouds again and the showers we think at least for sunday should stay mainly offshore and sunday night and monday we'll see another chance of seeing some drizzle or some light rain, especially for areas in the north bay. right now the radar is quite dry and as you saw this afternoon we had the clearing skies, northwest winds picking up helping to bring in dryer air and clearing out skies for the afternoon and the high country maybe some snow flurries at times earlier today and it does look like a mainly dry sunday for the sierra and the next batch of clouds will start swinging down by let's say tomorrow morning. let's go through 3, 4, 5:00 in the morning, mostly cloudy skies, overcast conditions around the bay area and the showers hang out offshore, not really crossing into the bay area i think until maybe monday morning, areas north of the golden gate

derleth, nevada is a tiny place. the empire you mentioned, that is a neighboring town which does not exist anymore. it was a classic company town. usgs cut their losses in sheet rock and closed down. it is gone. the houses are there but the people are gone. it is the real wild west, the way it was. it takes a lot of the romance out of it. so we have done several things. black rock solor, which came out of burning man in gerlach. the school is closing down because they do not have any kids. the economy has been based on mining. there are some tourists that come through. hunters. some of our people come through and leave money in their wake. a little town like that does not know how to make money. but they have learned in certain ways. we have made significant charitable contributions. i do not want to great -- take much credit for this, but we are helping to keep them alive. the thing about our event, we do not do commercial things at the event. it spreads out the economic development to our neighbors. the piutes down
